1.Who we are
The event is organised by Roboquark (Ghazal Pouya and Elham), Vilnius, Lithuania. You can reach us at info@roboquark.com.
2.The event
“A creative robotics night for women in Vilnius” is a hands-on workshop where each guest builds a small desk robot called Atomic, with drinks, snacks and time to meet people.
- Date and time: Wednesday, 25 November 2026, 17:30 to 20:30 (Vilnius time).
- Place: Vilnius, Lithuania. We share the exact venue with registered guests before the event.
- Language: English.
- Group size: up to 20 participants.
3.Who can take part
- The evening is for women.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Alcoholic drinks are only served to guests aged 20 or over, as Lithuanian law requires, and we may ask to see an ID. Non-alcoholic drinks are always available.
- No experience with coding, electronics or robotics is needed.
- Please bring a laptop for the coding part. If you don’t have one, tell us before the event and we will help you upload the code to your robot.
4.Booking and payment
- Tickets are booked and paid for on Luma, an event platform. Luma’s own terms apply to your use of its platform.
- The price is shown on Luma when you book (currently €48 per person). It includes everything listed in section 5. There are no extra costs at the event.
- Your place is confirmed when you receive the confirmation from Luma. Places are limited and given in order of booking.
- One ticket is valid for one person. Please keep your confirmation; we may ask to see it at the door.
5.What your ticket includes
- Your own Atomic robot kit to build and keep (electronic modules and the 3D-printed case).
- Use of all tools and assembly materials during the workshop.
- Beginner-friendly learning materials and step-by-step guidance from the Roboquark team.
- Drinks and snacks.
- About three hours of building, playing and meeting people.
6.If you can’t come
Under EU consumer law (Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, as applied in Lithuania), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure events booked for a specific date. Our own policy below is more flexible.
- Up to 7 days before the event (until 23:59 on 18 November 2026): cancel through Luma or by email and you get a full refund of the ticket price.
- Later than that: we can’t refund the ticket, because the robot kit and materials are prepared for you. You can pass your ticket on to another person who meets section 3, free of charge, up to 24 hours before the event. Just email us her name and email address.
- If you don’t come or arrive late, there is no refund.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days.
7.If we change or cancel the event
- If we have to cancel or move the event (for example because of illness, a problem with the venue, too few bookings or events outside our control), we tell you as soon as possible. You can choose a full refund, or a place at the new date.
- We may change the venue within Vilnius or small details of the programme, as long as the main content of the evening stays the same.
- We don’t cover travel or other costs you had, unless we caused them intentionally or through gross negligence.
8.At the event
- Be kind. We want the evening to feel welcoming for everyone, and we don’t accept harassment or discrimination of any kind.
- Follow our guidance when you use tools and electronics, and tell us right away if something goes wrong.
- We may refuse entry or ask someone to leave, without a refund, if her behaviour is unsafe, disrespectful, or strongly affected by alcohol.
- Please look after your own belongings. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items unless this was our fault.
- Let us know before the event about allergies, dietary needs or accessibility needs, so we can prepare.
9.Your robot
- The robot you build is yours to keep.
- It is a hobby electronics project, not a toy. It contains small parts, so keep it away from young children. Power it only through a USB port or a standard USB charger.
- Your legal rights for faulty goods apply in full.
- The learning materials and example code are for your personal, non-commercial use.
10.Photos
We may take photos during the evening. We ask before we take or publish photos where you can be recognised, and you can say no at any time. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
11.Liability
We are liable according to the law for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health caused by our fault. In other cases our liability is limited to the price of your ticket. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
12.Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as severe weather, public health measures, strikes or power cuts. In that case section 7 applies and you can choose a full refund.
13.Questions and complaints
If something is not right, please write to us at info@roboquark.com. We reply within 14 days and will try to find a fair solution.
If we can’t agree, you can contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba), A. Goštauto g. 12, 01108 Vilnius, Lithuania, vvtat.lrv.lt. It handles consumer disputes out of court. You can also go to court.
These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
14.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that was online when you booked applies to your booking.
